Toro Negro State Forest is a protected area located in the central mountain range of Puerto Rico. The forest is home to sev eral rivers and waterfalls, including the Río Toro Negro, which is the namesake of the forest. Nine rivers, Rio Indalecia, Rio Guayo, Rio Inabón, Rio Blanco, Rio Anón, Rio Prieto, Rio Saliente, Rio Toro Negro, and Rio Matrullas, flow through the state forest, creating a vast ecosystem with plants and animals indigenous to the zone.
